hey sweet thing's,

it's summer time, and things are looking beautiful. i've put up some new drawings from the past couple months. not as much as i'd like to have done, but there are many ideas brewing. i've been looking at Francis Bacon's work a lot lately, and i think i'll be looking into Philip Guston soon enough. they've been giving me some good ideas. see the new stuff here.

no new shows to speak of, but there is a closing for the Wordplay exhibit up at the Kohler Art Center in Sheboygan, WI on Sunday, June 27 from 11am - 4pm.  you can find info on the show here. 

there is some publication news, however. the Madison Review released their spring issue, and they were kind enough to feature my work in it. you can buy the issue online or in select Madison bookstores. also coming up, a few of my drawings will be included in the Midwest edition of New American Paintings. look for that nationwide on bookshelves sometime in mid- to late-August. i'm psyched about that one.
